Aerial Videography Vs. Standard Videography
The main difference between Standard Videography and Aerial Videography is that Standard Videography usually refers to capturing video footage from the ground. Aerial Videography is captured by a camera that is in the air, whether it be attached to an aerial drone or an elevated pole mast.
As Videography takes place on the ground, there are fewer limitations and it is generally more simple. When videoing holding a camera and stood on the ground it is a lot easier to change equipment around and adjust it according to what you are trying to capture and can adjust to suit the lighting or weather conditions.
However, as you can imagine the amount of control you have over a camera in the air will be slightly less than one that is actually in your hands when you are stood on the ground. With Aerial Videos, once your video camera is up in the air, it can be a lot more time consuming to obtain the footage you desire. This is because for many adjustments to be made the camera will need to be brought back down to the ground, you will need to adjust any settings and carry on doing this until you are happy with the footage.

Aerial Videography can produce videos with a more dramatic impact than standard
Videos that have been filmed from the ground. This is due to the fact that aerial videography provides a unique perspective that we would not normally be able to view from and therefore it can spark more of an interest and appear more attractive to watch. Aerial videography can be used to capture footage that would not otherwise be possible to capture without an aerial device, especially if what you are filming has happened on a large scale. An example would be filming a journalist in a town which has been destroyed by a hurricane, it will have much more of a dramatic impact.
Corporate Production and Promotional Videos are also different. Corporate Video Production will tend to have more of a professional sense, used for staff training and other aspects within a company. Whereas a Promotional Video would be used to promote something, such as a song, meaning it will have to be more appealing than a Corporate Production.
A Promotional Video would normally involve more post production methods such as editing and other film techniques. A Promotional Video will be used to entertain, inform and generate income, whereas a Corporate Production will be more or less a standard film, which will be used to inform clients and provide information.
